8 Things We Love About Kirkland

We’re founded on relationship to our community. It’s not just a thing we say. It’s the heart of our Kirkland home construction business. So we’ve collected a few of the things we love about Kirkland.

1. Waterfront

We can’t ignore the Lake Washington waterfront. With plenty of parks, docks, and benches along the full stretch of downtown Kirkland, it’s an ideal place to grab cup of gelato and enjoy with a friend.

2. Proximity

Kirkland offers proximity to a major city with the luxury of hometown living. It’s the best of both worlds.

3. Downtown

The downtown shops and restaurants are a world unto themselves. From hobbies to home decor and gyros to gelato, there’s always something to explore.

4. Landscape

Kirkland’s green space and foliage keeps us rooted in our Pacific Northwest identity. Every season reminds us why we love our region, from spring blossoms to (occasionally!) snow-covered evergreens.

5. Coffee

We’re a true Pacific Northwest town. Coffee is a necessity. Whether heading for work or meeting a friend, we’re fortunate to have a coffee shop for everyone. Starbucks, Zoka, Rococo, Caffe Ladro…what’s your go-to coffee house?

6. Dogs

Pets are part of the Kirkland experience. You’ll see dogs diving into Lake Washington, taking their people for walks, and lying at their person’s feet at their favorite outdoor eateries. The Kirkland tourism website lists the city’s most dog friendly places.

7. Sunsets

Whether we’re down on the dock or up on a hill, the sunsets over our hometown never fail to capture our attention. They’re part of the beauty that inspires our work.

8. Community

Most of all, we love the community. We look for every opportunity work and celebrate with our neighbors. Park cleanups, bird walks, festivals, and local productions showcase the vibrant life that exists within our community.

This list is only the beginning. What do you love about Kirkland?
