Celebrating July 4 in Kirkland


We’re a week away from all of our favorite local Fourth of July events, and we’re excited to indulge in parades, food, and fireworks with our Kirkland community. Here’s a look at a few of our favorite July 4 opportunities, courtesy of Celebrate Kirkland.

4th of July with the Kirkland community

Children’s Decorating Event

When: 10:00 am

Where: Marina Park Pavilion

What: Have fun with bike decorating, face painting, and activities for the whole family.

Children’s Parade

When: 11:30 am

Where: starts at Market and Central

What: All children are welcome to join in this festive parade.

Old Fashioned Downtown Parade

When: 12:00 pm

Where: Market and Central

What: Businesses and neighborhoods compete with creative floats, acts, and costumes in the 18th annual parade. This year’s theme is “Celebrate Kirkland, United We Stand!”

Party in the Park

When: 1:00 to 10:30 pm

Where: Marina Park

What: Enjoy food from sponsor vendors or bring your own picnic to savor with friends and family. It’s a fun, festive opportunity for food, games, friends, and memories.

4th of July with the Kirkland community

Kenworth Kirkland Fireworks Show

When: 10:15 pm

Where: visible from most downtown waterfront parks

What: One of our favorite July 4 traditions! Fireworks will soar into the night sky from Marina Park. You can observe the show from almost any waterfront perch in Kirkland.
