As summer officially draws to an end, the Kirkland community is coming together to host one final summer party like only Kirkland can do.

According to organizers:

Crossing Kirkland is a for-neighbors-by-neighbors block party along the Cross Kirkland Corridor. The event debuted in 2017 and drew more that 1,500 visitors with a mix of food trucks, games, craft projects, community organizations, a climbing wall and jumpy house. This year three neighborhood-sponsored stations stretch from Feriton Spur (Google) in the south up to 7th Ave in the north. Participants bike, walk, and take advantage of city-provided shuttles to see the whole event. The 2019 event will occur on Saturday, Sept 7 from 11-3. This year we’ll be adding local musicians, a community art project, and a kids fun run. Crossing Kirkland is powered by volunteer neighbors, in-kind donations from local businesses, and financial support from the Google, SRM Development and McLeod Autobody.”

This is a great opportunity to explore the Kirkland community. It reminds us that community and relationships are at the core of what we do, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
